Why compression matters, garment types, and the new Medicare benefit.
Lymphedema is swelling — usually in an arm or leg — that happens when lymph fluid can't drain normally, often after cancer treatment, surgery, or infection.
Graduated compression garments and wraps help move fluid and control swelling. The right fit matters — too loose won't work, too tight can cause harm.
Daytime garments give active compression while you move; nighttime garments use foam and padding to manage swelling at rest. Many people need both.
Since 2024, Medicare covers lymphedema compression garments with a diagnosis and an order. We're a Haddenham dealer and fit you properly.
